

Is ChildSportZ for both boys and girls?
Yes, at ChildSportZ the focus of training is on locomotor movement (such as hopping, jumping, and running), non-locomotor movement (such as twisting, pushing, and pulling), and manipulative movement (such as throwing and catching). These activities will be age appropriate and are beneficial for both boys and girls in their early sport development.
How experienced are the instructors?
The ChildSportZ team has experience working with toddlers through the Olympic level when it comes to sport! Our experienced instructors have spent countless years dedicated to and passionate for helping young people develop and master skills essential in all levels of sport.
Can I stay and watch?
We encourage parents to stay and watch the sessions, however, it is not required! There will be seating available if you would like to stay!
How do I register?
For your convenience, registration can be done from our website in the register online tab with a small additional fee. You may also contact Colleen at 612-703-5101 or colleen@childsportz.com to reserve your spot, and mail your registration fee (checks payable to ChildSportZ. Mail to 2968 Chatsworth St. Roseville, MN 55113.)
Do I need to fill out a waiver for my child?
Yes, we have a waiver available online . This can be done all the way up until the first session, and needs to be submitted to a ChildSportZ staff member before participation.
Where do the sessions take place?
All ChildSportZ programs will be facilitated at Acceleration Minnesota North in Arden Hills. The physical address for this facility is 3808 Dunlap Street North, Arden Hills, MN 55112.
What is the ratio of instructor to child?
The ChildSportZ ratio of teacher to child is usually 1 to 5. We strive to give your child personalized, one-on-one attention that is catered to their strengths and needs.
What should my child wear to the sessions?
We ask that you dress your child in play appropriate attire. This means athletic shoes, and loose fitting, comfortable clothing such as t-shirts, sweat pants, and shorts.
What should my child bring?
Although there are drinking fountains at the Acceleration Minnesota North Facility, your child is encouraged to bring their own water bottle for easy accessibility. All equipment is provided by the ChildSportZ team, and has been carefully selected for little hands and feet!
How old do you have to be to participate?
The youngest age the session offerings cater to is 2½ years. RookieZ sessions will have age appropriate skills and curriculum for 2 to 3½ year old children. The Junior All-StarZ sessions will have age appropriate skills and curriculum for or 2½ to 5 year olds. We will have sessions available soon for 6-10 year olds!
